Shannon Bowles

Shannon brings 13 years of nutrition-related experience to FWSW, as well as a great love of health and fitness.  Shannon has been a dietitian with Lutheran Hospital’s weight management program for more than 11 years. As a nutrition expert, she helps people change their eating habits, which can prevent chronic diseases and allow them to live longer, healthier lives. She hopes the FWSW experience will be life changing for all participants and that this lifestyle change will be contagious. Shannon completed her undergraduate and dietetic internship through Ball State University. She participated in track and cross country in college and continues to run today, averaging 35 to 40 miles per week. Area competitions have included the Fort-4-Fitness Half Marathon, the Nutri Run and the River City Rat Race.
